Policies
You will receive 3-5 lessons a month. Payment is due to Eagle Rock Dance by the 1st of the month. A $15 late fee will be applied if fees are not paid within 5 days of the due date. If left unpaid, a $15/late fee is charged every 30 days for non-payment, and Dancers will be asked to sit-out during class until tuition and/or other fees are paid in full. Please note that the summer session does not necessarily correspond with the beginning and end of the month. There are NO refunds on class tuition.
Late fees will be applied to costuming, competition, convention and all other transactions with a due date. Late fees generate automatically 5 days after an item is past due. If left unpaid, a $15/late fee is charged every 30 days days for non-payment, and Dancers will be asked to sit-out during class until tuition and/or other fees are paid in full. This may also result in a dancer not having costuming ordered or being pulled from performances and competitions.
All holiday closures and breaks are listed on our website and calendar.
Beginning May 1, 2026, studio fees will reflect a 3.5% average increase. This change helps ensure we can continue providing high-quality instruction, programming, and service while supporting the long-term sustainability of our studio.

Currently, online payments by ACH will include a 1.00% + 20¢ convenience fee and payments made by debit/credit card will include a 3.05% + 35¢ convenience fee. You can utilize online payment option as a one-time payment, or you can set it up for autopay to be deducted on the due date each month to avoid late fees.

After May 1, 2026, our studio will be eliminating convenience fees.

We do NOT accept payments on dancer’s accounts using Venmo, and no longer accept PayPal.

Class Cancellation – If Eagle Rock Dance cancels classes due to unforeseeable events, we will provide a make up class without charge within thirty days, however; no refunds or make-up classes will be given for lessons missed due to weather, power outages, or personal circumstances. IF SCHOOL IS CANCELLED FOR WEATHER, THERE ARE NO DANCE CLASSES THAT DAY.

Class Withdrawal – Inform our office staff in person if withdrawing. Auto-Pay will stop after a one-month notice period. NO credit will be given if dancers withdraw from class after the first of the month. We reserve the right to terminate lessons to any students without notice. In such a case, a refund for unused lessons will be given.
Quit Fee – If on an applicable team a quit fee may apply if dancer withdraws after the season begins per signed team agreement. See your copy of signed team agreement for dates and fees.
Eagle Rock Dance has permission to take photographs of the student to use in brochures, web sites, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials. Permission is also granted for the studio to copyright such photographs in its name.
Coach Substitutions – Eagle Rock Dance reserves the right to provide a substitute instructor if the regularly scheduled instructor is ill or otherwise unable to attend classes. If an instructor is ill and we cannot arrange a substitute or a make-up class, an account credit will be given for a missed class or a make-up class will be offered.
Parents and Children – Eagle Rock Dance is not responsible for children not registered in class. Parents with dancers under the age of 5 should remain at Eagle Rock Dance during that child’s lesson.
Eagle Rock Dance does not provide child care. Parent(s) are responsible to ensure their child(ren) is/are supervised, make it into each class they are scheduled for, they do not disturb students, classes, or instructors, the facility and its equipment are respected, and equipment is only for instruction. Parents are to clean up after their child(ren).I fully understand that Eagle Rock Dance staff members are not physicians or medical practitioners of any kind. With the above in mind, I hereby release the Eagle Rock Dance staff to render temporary first aid to my child or children in the event of any injury or illness, and if deemed necessary by the Eagle Rock Dance staff to call a doctor and to seek medical help, including transportation for said child should the Eagle Rock Dance staff deem this necessary. Parents, legal guardians of minor students, and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on Eagle Rock Dance property resulting from normal class activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during, or after class time.
I authorize Eagle Rock Dance to instruct my child in a program of dance education. In consideration of this agreement to instruct and assist me/my child, I do here and forever release and discharge and hereby hold harmless Eagle Rock Dance and their respective instructors, employees, and contractors from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action, present or future, arising out of or connected with me/my child’s participation in this dance program, including any injuries resulting therefrom. I understand it is my responsibility to maintain medical coverage for myself/my child, and I authorize Eagle Rock Dance to obtain emergency medical treatment for me/my child for injury or illness while attending dance classes, performances, competitions, or activities. I also authorize Eagle Rock Dance to use my child’s picture for promotional reasons.
