Dance training is life training! At Eagle Rock Dance, we believe that we are not only teaching dance, we are building people. With this concept in mind, we have developed core values and a philosophy behind why we do what we do and why we can be the perfect fit for the development of your dancer.

The foundation at Eagle Rock Dance is built on well rounded and correct technical training with an emphasis on performance and competition based experiences. Our dancers have received college scholarships, danced onstage as members of professional companies, worked as independent choreographers and instructors, and pursued many opportunities in theatre, film, and TV.

Although we are proud of all that our dancers have been able to accomplish since 2005, we recognize that most of our dancers will not become employed in the world of dance and entertainment. We are building people! They will all become co-workers, community members, and family leaders. The core values our dancers gain from our program is the reason we do what we do.

We breathe positive energy and passion! The more we use it, the stronger it gets. We teach our dancers that enthusiasm draws people, and our positive energy and vision must be greater than any negative energy around us. We believe in teaching work ethic, teamwork, responsibility, respect, gratitude, and service. We have found our dancers grow in determination, excellence, leadership, resilience, integrity, and self-worth when we focus on our core values in a supportive and positive environment.

FAMILY is such an important component at Eagle Rock Dance. We believe in strong families of every shape, size, and color. We have built a strong studio family and welcome adding diversity to it! We push for a culture of respect and place an emphasis on service as a studio family. Our belief is that dancers must develop a love of dance before their skills can be developed, and this is what we aim to do.
