Luke Phillips has been dancing for the last 8 years, but don’t let that fool you, he has trained vigorously and received many awards. Luke found his passion for dance when he was 8 years old, watching his older sister on the drill team at school.
When Luke turned 12 he joined a studio and has taken off ever since. Winning outstanding awards such as scholarships from: the Dance Awards, NYCDA, Hollywood Vibe/ LA Millennium, and Radix.
To further his knowledge of dance, he traveled to Utah to train with Center Stage, also traveled to Las Vegas and parts of California. Where He attended many dance training programs at places like Millennium Dance Complex Los Angeles, and Movement life style.
During his travels he has taken from impressive teachers and choreographers including Bonnie Story, Liz Imperio, Nappy Tabs, Twitch, Brian Friedman, Tyce Diorio, Tessandra Chavez, Sonya Atya, Travis Wall, Talia Flaivia, Mandy Moore, Blake McGrath, Misha Gabriel, Nick Lazzarini, Jannel Ginestra and Kyle Hanagami.
During his training, he trained with studios nearby such as Eagle Rock Dance, The Dance Factory, and Idaho Falls School of Ballet. In addition, Luke also did drill team for his high school, where he was a captain and a state champion his senior year. He is well rehearsed in many styles such as Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Military, Lyrical, and Acro.
Luke also had the privilege to dance back up for some well-known people in the music industry such as Hailee Steinfeld and Becky G. To put it short, Luke is excited to be with us and we are beyond excited to have him.
